Discover two Sicilian wonders in one day with a tour from Catania to Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, including nature, adventure and authentic flavours. After pick-up at your hotel, you will reach Mount Etna North on a scenic drive. Accompanied by a mountain guide, you will explore the Sartorius craters or the 2002 crater, walking through ancient forests, extinct craters and lava flows, up to an altitude of 2000 metres. You will discover lunar landscapes, lava deserts and traces of past eruptions. Don a helmet and lamp to venture into a volcanic cave such as Grotta del Ladroni or Grotta Cassone. Afterwards, enjoy a typical Sicilian lunch in a local wine cellar along the slopes of Mount Etna, with antipasto, first course, water and wine.
