Experience an unforgettable wine and food tour on Mount Etna, amidst wine tastings and typical products, departing from Catania. The first stop is Zafferana Etnea, a charming village known as the honey capital of Sicily. Stroll through the streets lapped by ancient lava flows and savour honey, extra virgin olive oil and other local specialities in a guided tasting session. Continue to an Etna wine cellar, where an expert sommelier will tell you about the wine production process, from pruning to harvesting. Take part in a tasting of local wines, discovering their unique aromas and characteristics. For lunch, visit a second wine cellar and enjoy a delicious full lunch with starter, first and second course, paired with three Etna DOC wines (one white and two reds). After lunch, explore the vineyards with oenologists and sommeliers who will guide you behind the scenes of Etna's viticulture. The tour ends with a return to Catania in the late afternoon.
