About This Tour

Discover the heart of late Sicilian Baroque with a tour of the beautiful towns of Noto, Modica and Ragusa, rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693 and now part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The first stop is Noto, the ‘Garden of Stone’, famous for its extraordinary Baroque heritage. Rebuilt in the 18th century on the Meti Hill, the town encompasses a thousand years of history, with origins dating back to the Ancient Bronze Age. We continue on to Modica, famous for its chocolate, still produced today following an ancient Aztec recipe. Here you can visit Sicily's oldest chocolate factory and admire the city's architectural treasures, such as the Cathedrals of San Giorgio and San Pietro, the Palazzo della Cultura and the elegant historical buildings. The last stop is Ragusa, part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 2002, with magnificent examples of late Baroque such as the Cathedrals of San Giovanni Battista and San Giorgio, and the sumptuous palazzi Zacco and Schininà di Sant'Elia. An unforgettable trip to the most authentic Sicily!
